About ZooBC

The Legacy (2021)

ZooBC was born from a realization in deepest Bali: the promise of blockchain was being stifled by its own technical limitations. Between 2019 and 2021, a team of over 25 developers invested years of research and millions in private funds to rebuild blockchain from the “silicon up”.

The original project introduced Proof of Participation (PoP), a novel consensus mechanism designed to detach network security from the volatile value of tokens. It solved the “blockchain bloat” problem with Spine Blocks, allowing nodes to synchronize in minutes rather than weeks. While the 2021 iteration faced the challenges of its time, the architectural foundations, built for speed, fairness, and true decentralization, remained waiting for the right moment.

The Resurrection (2026)

In 2026, the world has changed. Technology has become more centralized, and the “open” web is increasingly gated by a handful of corporate giants. ZooBC is being resurrected not as a corporate product, but as a sovereign, open-source foundation built to give humanity back control over its data, its voice, and its intelligence.

We are no longer just building a ledger; we are building a decentralized ecosystem where:

  • Systems Think in Atoms: We bridge the gap between software and physical hardware to ensure the infrastructure of freedom cannot be switched off.
  • AI is Sovereign: We are architecting a peer-to-peer mesh of specialized models: a collective brain that belongs to no one and serves everyone.
  • Design Respects the Human: We reject “dark patterns” and engagement traps in favor of radical simplicity and ethical empathy.
  • Community is the Soul: We are building a space where trust is the currency and transparency is the only rule.

The Foundation Team

ZooBC is currently moving from a solo resurrection to a founding board of myself plus six more exceptional pillars. We are looking for people who have already “made it”. Those who have solved the money problem and are now driven by purpose, not profit.
