The Call

The Call

This week I am not shipping code. I am shipping intent.

ZooBC has crossed a line that is easy to miss when you are deep in the build. For months, the question was: “Can I rebuild the protocol correctly?” Now the question is: “Can this survive outside my hands?” A Layer 1 is not a repo. It is an institution in disguise. And institutions do not survive on engineering alone. They survive on values that are defended when the market tries to buy them, when incentives shift, when people get tired, when it would be easier to compromise.

So I am publishing an open letter. Not a job listing. Not “we are hiring.” A manifesto. Six profiles. Six roles. Six kinds of integrity that I believe are required if ZooBC is going to outlast its founder.

I am looking for six people, each exceptional, and each financially free enough to choose work based on meaning, not money. That sentence matters. If you need the money, you will eventually accept the wrong trade. You will justify it. You will call it “pragmatic.” That is how values die.

The Architect of Experience is the mind behind the interface. Someone who has designed at the highest level and is done compromising on ethics. You believe simplicity is the hardest thing to achieve. You believe dark patterns are a betrayal of trust. You know the difference between “usable” and “honest,” and you refuse to ship the first without the second.

The Signal is a tech voice that people trust because it was earned, not bought. You have turned down easy money to stay honest. You want to use your platform for something that genuinely matters. You are allergic to hype, and your audience trusts you because you have been right more often than you have been popular.

The Mind is an AI expert who understands the stack from the silicon up. You dream of decentralized AI: small, independent models in a peer-to-peer network, synapses of a collective brain that belongs to no one. You know it is possible, and you also know what has to be true for it to be safe.

The Keeper is a community builder who knows the difference between moderation and censorship. You have created spaces where people belonged, disagreed in good faith, and built trust. You want to do it again, for something permanent.

The one who thinks in atoms is a hardware mind who understands that decentralization means nothing if the physical layer is not free. You build real things: circuits, embedded systems, mesh networks. You know freedom needs infrastructure.

The Voice is a native English speaker who makes the complex feel clear. Calm, credible, human. You can stand in front of cameras and skeptics and make them listen, not through charm, but through clarity and conviction.

I publish the timeline: testnet in April 2026, mainnet in December 2026. I do not present it as a hype schedule. I present it as a spine for the story we are building. The point of the foundation is not to look official. It is to protect these values when it becomes uncomfortable.

This letter does not end with “apply here.” It ends with something more personal: if you are one of these people, you already know.
