How are decisions made?
By rough consensus and running code. We debate vigorously, but we do not design by committee. Each Founder has autonomy within their domain (e.g., The Architect of Experience owns the UI/UX; The Builder of Systems owns the Protocol). For existential decisions affecting the Foundation's core mission, we operate on a consensus model among the board of Founders.
How is governance handled?
We are moving toward a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) structure, but we are not there yet. Currently, governance is meritocratic and centralized around the founding board. We believe in "progressive decentralization"—we hold the reins tightly now to ensure the vision remains pure, so we can effectively give them away later.
How much time is expected?
As much as is required to get the job done. We don't track hours, we track impact. This is not a "side hustle" or a "weekend hobby." While we respect deep work and autonomy, we expect this project to occupy a significant portion of your mental bandwidth. If you are juggling five other major commitments, you cannot be a founder here.
I have technical skills but I'm not "rich." Can I still join?
You can join as a Core Contributor, but likely not as a Founder. The Founder role requires the ability to take risks that those dependent on a salary cannot take. We will have bounties, grants, and roles for contributors, but the Founding Board must be insulated from short-term financial pressure to make long-term decisions.
I'm interested. What is the first step?
Do not send a CV. Send a message that tells us who you are, what you have built, and why you are ready to build the next era of the internet. https://rcx.it/co
Is this a paid role?
No. This is not a job offer; it is a founding partnership. There is no salary. We are building a sovereign foundation, not burning venture capital on payroll. The upside is equity, tokens, and the potential impact of the ecosystem we build together. You should already be financially independent. If you need a monthly paycheck to sustain your lifestyle right now, this is not the right fit.
Is this remote?
Yes. We are building a decentralized ecosystem, and we operate as one. We use asynchronous communication to respect deep work. However, we may require occasional in-person summits (likely in Bali or other strategic locations) to align on high-level strategy.
What does "Founder" actually mean here?
It means you are not a contractor, an advisor, or an employee. You are a pillar of the foundation. Your name goes on the charter. You share the liability, the risk, the reputation, and the ultimate reward. You are expected to lead your domain autonomously, without being managed.
What happens if I join and it doesn't work out?
We part ways. We are adults. If your life circumstances change or the alignment isn't there, you step down. However, founder equity/tokens will be subject to a vesting schedule to ensure long-term commitment. We protect the mission above any individual.
What is the legal structure?
ZooBC is transitioning into a non-profit Foundation structure designed to steward the open-source technology. We are currently finalizing the jurisdiction to ensure maximum sovereignty and protection for the project and its founders.
Why "ZooBC"? Is this just another crypto project?
ZooBC started as a blockchain project, but the 2026 resurrection is bigger. It is an ecosystem for sovereign technology. We use blockchain (Proof of Participation) for consensus, but our stack includes hardware, AI, and peer-to-peer networking. We are not interested in "crypto" hype cycles, token speculation, or "number go up" mechanics. We are building infrastructure.
